The movement in conversation.
A youth movement is a machine in continuous conversation between its members. A conversation about its ideals, its actions, its vision. The Mazkirim Seminar comes to gather around the same table the people from all around the world that are inolved the most in its conversation, in order to enrich them with new perspectives and to motivate them to share their own ideas. An amazing opportunity to explore ideological, educational and managerial matters on a high level, through the Bnei Akiva lenses.
The participants will be divided in two tracks: the first track, for High School Students, focuses on Ideology, Chinuch and Staff Management. The second track, for University Students and Post-University, will focus on Management, advanced Chinuch and Planning Skills.
The Rationale of the Seminar.
Global and Local.
The seminar wants to give many different stimuli and ideas to all the representatives, and give them the opportunity to make them relevant on a local level and on a global level. That’s why during the seminar the staff will have one-to-one meetings with each one of the representatives, and in the schedule we planned to have them meet people that can give relevant consulting in different matters. On a global level, we’re going to go through a practical process that will lead the participants to make decisions that will affect the main projects the movement is involved in.
What’s a “Platform”?
A Platform is a moment when people from the same track gather to elaborate what they are experiencing in the seminar and to start creating a database of practical ideas that will be discussed in the relevant forums. Every track will have the same person leading the discussions in the Platforms throughout the seminar, who will be responsible to create an open dialogue with a practical outcome.
Getting practical.
One of our main goals in this seminar is networking between members of our movement from all over the world. We want the participants of the seminar to share their experiences, learn from each other and create a connection with the Mazkirut in Israel. The seminar is not only an interesting opportunity to learn more about the movement, but mainly a moment when we stop to think together with the people that lead the movement in the field what’s the next step we should take.
